The only carry-on you’ll ever need

I’m not one to write reviews but I have to for this item. I purchased my Chester almost exactly one year ago for a weekend trip to Seattle, where it fit everything I needed for about 4 days of professional and casual wear. On that trip I first put the handle and wheels to the test on the streets of Seattle, where it held up marvelously and navigated smoothly.

Fast forward one year and I’ve just returned with my Chester from a week long trip to Ecuador where it was the only bag I used to store my clothes, shoes, and toiletries. Not only did it hold everything I needed, but it held up through a week of bus rides, hotel rooms, rearranging, and plane travel with only some scuffs as victory scars.

No matter the terrain or length of stay, this bag holds up like a champ. I rested easy knowing that the hardside case could withstand anything, that the wheels could handle any stones, that the handle can support the weight of my backpack and the bag, that I could lock its contents at any moment, and that everything inside was protected from the elements. I cannot wait to keep traveling with my Chester.

Worth every cent.

I’m impressed with everything—the organization, zipper quality, quality & function of the spinner wheels and the lock. No dents from trips and the black marks wiped off easily. It safely transported original glass in 6 picture frames (from 60-150 years old). I used compression bags and got enough clothes in it to not have to go up a size. If I’m going rob gone more than 2 to 3 days, I’m not going to use a carryon. I’m unapologetic that I bring more than I need. I don’t want to wear all one color or wear anything twice without washing it. That includes pants. (uck). I like to have options. The suitcase holds more than I thought when I first opened the it. Although it isn’t as light as a soft sided suitcase, even with clothes in compression bags, it easily passed weight restrictions. BTW, I think of the color as mid tone camel.
